These terms cover the use of Berth, a hosting service in private beta. Last updated September 22, 2026.
Private beta
Access is by request. Berth is still changing, and features may change or stop. We do our best to keep your app running, but the service is provided as it is, without a guarantee of uptime.
Pricing
There is no public price list. Before any paid hosting starts, we agree on the price with you in writing.
Your content
What you host stays yours. You are responsible for it, and you must have the right to host it. Do not use Berth for anything illegal, for spam, malware, or attacks, or in a way that puts other apps at risk.
Tokens
Your tokens give full access to your app's data. Keep them secret. Tell us right away if one leaks, and we will replace it.
Backups
Databases are backed up every night. Backups help, but they are not a promise that no data is ever lost. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot lose.
Suspension and ending
We may suspend an app that breaks these terms or puts the service at risk. You can stop using Berth at any time. Ask before you leave and we will help you get a copy of your data.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version is posted on this page with a new date.
