Platform
Create an app with one command. It comes with a database, keys, sign in, policies, realtime, storage, functions, webhooks, SQL, export, and hosting for your site. The docs cover each one.
Each app is its own Postgres database with its own role. Tables, columns, indexes, and rows through the API, with filters, cursors, upsert, and bulk import.
An account key for your laptop, a secret key for your server, a publishable key for your phone or browser build.
Your app's users sign up with email and password or an emailed code. JWT access tokens and rotating refresh tokens.
Each table is secret, public, authenticated, or owner only, enforced with Postgres row level security.

The berth CLI and the HTTP API do the same work. You never need a dashboard.
Install the CLI, then sign in with a code sent to your email.
Berth makes a Postgres database and role for it, plus a secret and a publishable key.
Decide who may read and write each table: secret, public, signed-in users, or each row's owner.
Your phone or web app signs users in and calls the API. The secret key stays on your server.
